Who We Are

We are committed to family, to living life with compassion and to embracing each moment with appreciation and joy.

After years devoted to raising a large family and, as our youngest headed to University, we made the clear and arguably bold choice to take life in another direction … we were going to write our own script.

What do others say?

Some might say we are intrepid entrepreneurs traversing the universe of experiences on our own terms (I guess that’s what we say)…others really say nothing (to our face), just share a laugh and embrace our joy. It really isn’t what others say (or do), we focus on how we respond and the actions we take.

So … where did we end up?

We ended up two people that want to live in the moment … always with respect … always with kindness and forever unscripted. Why not?

Living life .
[ unscripted ]
"Whatever you do, whoever you are… own it.” “Living life unscripted.” “Onwards and upwards!” “Your values are what define you, and every action you take should be based on your values.” “It is not about winning or losing; it’s about staying true to yourself in the process”.

Lympne Castle

I said to my husband “Let’s go look at this castle tomorrow”. He replied “We’re not buying a castle”. The rest is history (literally).

Chateau Palace

This was the first home we bought together. For years we rented, we focused on putting the kids through school and enjoying life. Owning a place was not an option, but it didn’t matter – we were happy. We looked for a place in the Bridal Path for a few years. I went to auctions and looked for properties in receivership or something that was palatial enough for our large family but also a good investment (not to mention something we could afford at the time). The house we ended up purchasing was “off-market” (meaning not listed). We were on the radar and had an opportunity to purchase the house at land value. Years later, as we moved from Toronto to London, we decided to renovate. The renovations became a rebuild, and the rebuild of a house evolved into the erection of a palace.
